In Malawi – building work about to begin

Over the last few months the foundations of four biulding have been laid by our partners in Malawi, Fisherman’s Rest.  Now it’s our turn to take up the baton and manage the project from now.  Our hope is to complete the building of a first form entry school by september 2020, equipped so that 50 Form 1 students can begin their secondary education.  In rural Blantyre only 10% of children will reach secondary school.  This is for many reasons, but one is the lack of school places available at existing secondary schools.   Chipwepwete Secondary School this September will enable 50 children to begin their secondary education which otherwise they would not have.
