Help to build more classrooms

Improvements in primary education mean more children from Hope’s feeder schools are passing their secondary school entrance exams. In May, 110 students from Hope Secondary’s four feeder primary schools sat the national entrance exam at the end of Year 8. Many students will pass but there are not enough places available.

Hope Secondary is limited to one-form entry (50 places), so more places are needed at this school. Otherwise, with standards rising, children will miss out on secondary education.

The community vision is to build four further classrooms at Hope to enable two-form entry, doubling school places to 100 each year. A school hall is also needed for assemblies, parents’ meetings, exams, and other larger gatherings.

Thank you for giving children the chance of a secondary education
