Great progress at Chipwepwete secondary school

Mark and Sara Goodman, two of our trustees, have been in Malawi for 3 weeks overseeing the building of the new secondary school at Chipwepwete.  The two schools blocks currently being constructed are the first classroom block and the science block, which  need to be ready for when the school opens in September.  We have employed 34 builders and labourers from the local community.  Our hope is that by employing people locally, the local economy will be boosted and the devlopment we long for in the area will be evident.  As we share our vision for the school and the local area, we also see the vision and passion of the locals regained.  Hope is certainly rising here.
