11 of the 12 London to Paris riders headed off from Cheam to Brighton with the aim to eat some chips on the front, and do some training for the upcoming ride. The sight of Ditchling beacon didn’t phase us with the the promise of an ice cream at the top! All rose to the challenge well, enjoyed chips and rode 100miles. The excitement of Tim’s saddle snapping off did bring a little colour to the ride, mercifully not far from a bike shop.
Why do this, what keeps those wheels turning, chips and ice cream? Actually no, food for others is our motivation.
